2011 Call For Submissions And Entry Form
The Patois Film Festival (PFF) is dedicated to nurturing the New Orleans human rights community, supporting the work of local organizers and organizations involved in these struggles, and providing a forum for artistic expression of local and international issues.
PFF’s format consists of feature and short films. Entries may be in documentary, narrative, animation or experimental form, and can be submitted by professional or amateur filmmakers.
Pre-screening copies must be submitted on DVD. Each entry must be labeled with title, running time, and contact information. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form and submission fee.
Please include press kits, publicity photographs, critical reviews, biographies of the director, and any other material relevant to the work in submission package. All submissions will be retained by the Patois Film Festival for pre-selection and archival purposes.
Final preferred exhibition formats are DV cam and Mini DV.
Fees/Deadline for entries
All entries must be received by February 25th, 2011. Notices of acceptance only will be sent out by e-mail by March 15th, 2011. Click Here to download the 2011 submission for and return it with your entry.
Features (over 30 minutes in length): $25 Shorts (under 30 minutes in length): $20

Shipping and Handling
The entrant must pay all costs of shipping pre-screening and exhibition copies to the festival.
